Scam Artists Telling you That you Have a Virus aka ammy scam or windows scam

There is a crafty group of scam artists that you probably want to know about. They will call you and tell you that you have a virus on your windows machine. If you do as they say, they'll bring you to a page on your computer that shows a
Windows virus scam
bunch of errors. These are all just tiny system errors. They are normal! But the scam artist will tell you that this is a sign of a much more serious infection. Don't fall for it! Don't give them any of your information. You'll regret it! BIG MISTAKE!

If  you want to waste their time, then let them take you to the site where you'll download the desktop share program. They'll probably take you to a site called ammy.com.  To make it fun pretend like you don't know what a website is, pretend you have really really slow dial up. Just whatever you do don't give them any real information, and don't worry about what they say concerning your infected computer. If you're really worried about that, then download a virus protection program like Mcafee.

If you do end up being scammed, you'll probably lose something around $500-$900. Ya that's right, don't fall for it.

Everybody makes mistakes, don't make the same mistakes that I have.
