The only problem that I've had with it is the battery life. After about 6 months of use I was only getting 2 hours of battery. Now after two years I'm down to about an hour per charge. It doesn't really matter for me, because I don't use it away from an outlet that often. But if you plan on using this as a portable budget power house, then you're going to want to look into another battery.
I think that the Asus K53e is one of the best laptops that you can get, if you're on a budget.
